Celebrating my 100th book party at my home, with my husband Geoff and I on the wall in the foreground, plus family, friends and writing colleagues.
And here we are, dressed up to the nines on the cruise ship Braemar.

Geoff and I have a very large family, so Christmas and birthdays are always hectic and very expensive! The next group of photos are of our eldest, Barry's wedding to Cat, and then their wonderful fancy-dress WedFest. Many of our family are here, and the photo above the Egyptians (Geoff and me, bottom right) is of our 'children', Ann, Barry and Janet.

The photo below is our son Barry, with our grand-daughter Daisy. Lovely red hair!

I got carried away with these photo montages! But I think they look good. Next is our grandson Russell's wedding to Julie in 2007. The photo of five wedding guests is of some of our grandchildren, including the bridegroom, belonging to our daughter Ann. The gorgeous little bridesmaid in Russell's arms is his daughter, Mollie-Ann.

Below - this is me with Russell's daughters Mollie-Ann, and Maddison, just four days old.

And here she is at nine months. What gorgeous blue eyes!

Much of my life has centred around writing, and I have been a devotee of the annual Writers' Summer School at the Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, since 1973. I have been a committee member several times as well as Vice-Chairman. During that time I have made some enduring friendships, so the following selection is just a few of them.

Another great venue is the annual Southern Writers Conference at the Earnley Concourse, nr Chichester where I have been Chairman and Speaker. Below are some of the many writer friends I have met there. The small photo bottom left (and also the larger one below it) is of me and Eve Branson, Richard Branson's mother, and the small photo above that is me with Frederick E Smith, author of the famous book and film, '633 Squadron'. The conference centre at Swanwick, mentioned above, was also used as a prisoner of war camp during the second world war, and coincidentally, is the place from where the German prisoner of war - 'the one that got away' - escaped.
